To achieve our vision, we are searching for Dance Teachers with a Bachelor’s degree, at least 1-2+ years of teaching experience, and mastery of dance.

Responsibilities:

- Execute a vision of excellence in dance, working with leaders and teammates to craft inquiry-based and rigorous lessons that inspire creativity and artistic expression in all students

- Build a classroom culture that fosters students’ genuine love for learning and creates a sense of community for our families

- Assist with whole-school initiatives and provide instructional support as needed

- Use data-driven approaches and teaching resources to drive student achievement

- Develop authentic, meaningful relationships with students and families to support student growth

- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in weekly professional development opportunities with leaders and colleagues to benefit from feedback that will help you grow as an educator

- Lead a strong after-school dance program that furthers students' passion and skill set

The start date for this role is July 22, 2024. The salary range for this position is between $62,000 and $94,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near the start of the range, depending on relevant experience teaching in a lead capacity in a school and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales.
