Tier 2 SMB - Technical Support Engineer

As a Tier 2 SMB Engineer, you will provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics for Yotpo customers and offer tailor-made solutions for unique issues. This position requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as a fundamental working knowledge of client and server-side scripting, web technologies, APIs and networking protocols.
We are looking for a team player with exceptional communication skills, who can function and deliver under pressure. The Tier 2 Engineer will also act as a technical guide for Tier 1 SMB Engineers - Expanding their knowledge of the product and walking them through advanced troubleshooting processes.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex and advanced product issues within customers’ various environments
  • Manage bug workflows and work in close contact with R&D teams
  • Maintain and manage Yotpo’s internal Knowledge Base
  • Offer guidance, assistance, and product training to other customer-facing teams within the company.

Requirements:

  • Native English Speaker or comparable - spoken and written English - must
  • 2+ years of experience in a Technical Support team – must
  • Experience in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, REST API - must
  • Knowledge of JS, jQuery, PHP, SQL- Strong advantage
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Team player and all around awesome person.
