As Yotpo embarks on another year of explosive growth, we’re looking for a rockstar Communications Manager to help propel our brand-building efforts to new heights. Armed with data, edgy storylines, amazing customers and power-player partners to work with, you will amplify marketing campaigns and thought leadership initiatives by producing incisive commentary and compelling content. You will be a Yotpo brand champion, on social media and earned media, strengthening our voice and position as a clear leader in the emergent commerce space.
- Assist in the development of Yotpo’s brand voice, style guide and editorial best practices
- Write editorials, press releases, reports, white papers, and blog posts
- Edit copy to ensure consistency in voice and quality
- Source, draft and submit speaking pitches for conferences and awards nominations
- Lead the management and engagement of Yotpo earned and owned media accounts
- Establish process for sourcing content across the company
- Establish and manage a cross-functional editorial calendar
- Direct Studio resources to produce breakthrough visual content including hero images and infographics
- Identify opportunities to establish and grow our presence across relevant conversations, groups, and forums, nurture community through active and continuous dialogue and engagement
- Share performance reports and insights on content pieces, social posts, campaigns, and community engagement with cross-functional teams to help us evolve and improve strategies
- 3+ years experience in a marketing copywriter role, preferably in-house at an early- or mid-stage startup
- Journalism degree and experience preferred
- Discerning and deeply customer-centric, with the sophistication and professionalism to interface with executives and customers
- Upbeat, outgoing and resilient in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Demonstrated experience in growing a company’s social media presence
- Proven ability to develop content that drives engagement
- Deep familiarity with modern eCommerce brands, professionally and as a consumer
- Working knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
- A self-starter, problem-solver, and collaborative
- Detail-oriented and obsessed with advanced planning
- A valid U.S work authorization
