Job Description:

Yodle is seeking a results-oriented Senior Product Marketing Manager with strong marketing, creative and analytic skills. This Marketer will be responsible for all aspects of our core products, including establishing and executing our go-to-market strategy (value proposition, positioning, messaging, pricing, etc), owning sales and marketing enablement and for driving usage and engagement that leads to stronger customer retention and value.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, collaborative and a strong communicator. They are comfortable using qualitative research and customer knowledge to translate complex technical concepts into plain language that resonates with a small business audience.

The senior product marketing manager `will be responsible for leading the development of product and feature messaging, naming, feature and bundle prioritization, finding and testing innovative ways of communicating with customers, and developing cross-channel communication strategies that drive usage and retention. The ideal candidate will have experience leveraging data to optimize email communications and segmentation strategies that drive customer action. The person in this role should have a high comfort level sourcing and analyzing data needed to make effective campaign decisions, as well as working cross functionally with teams across the broader organization.

The first priority for this role in the short term will be defining and putting in place a multi-channel customer (Outbound, In-product, email, etc) experience from Sales through the different stages in customer lifecyle to significantly improve retention.


•Own Go to Market Strategy, Sales Enablement, Customer Communication, and Usage and Engagement for core products.
•Lead cross-functional marketing initiatives to employ best demonstrated practices across the company that improve retention and other key metrics.
•On an ongoing basis as new products and features are released, design, launch and optimize campaigns to drive adoption and engagement of new and existing products and features using data and best practices to inform vision.
•Work with design and UX partners to create compelling emails, videos, and website content that drive action.
•Team with product managers and the rest of the product marketing team to stay ahead of need for communication and iteration of existing material, and to ensure overall effective go to market strategy.
•Measure and communicate the impact of all product marketing efforts


•Experience working with product teams in a B2B and/or technology marketing environment.
•Deep experience with email marketing and marketing automation including AB testing, delivery, trigger-based, targeting, customer segmentation and analytics/performance management.
•A proven track record of converting marketing plans in to measurable results with specific KPI’s
•Hands on experience with marketo or similar platform a plus
•Outstanding communication skills, including strong writing abilities and proven experience in making complex subject matter accessible to a broader audience.
•Excellent organization and people skills. Ability to set priorities, problem solve, multi-task, and work independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace
•Creative thinker with the ability to come up with concise & compelling marketing messages and “out of the box” ideas
•Enthusiastic self-starter with a willingness to operate at both highly strategic and very tactical levels.
•Flexible cross-functional team player comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment

Minimum Experience Required:

•2+ years experience in a similar role, preferably from technology or SaaS company.
