Job Description:

This HR Talent Director will play a crucial role developing our company’s business by partnering with leadership to build our talent consistent with Web.com’s values and culture. This individual will collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR site leadership to enable the support and management of the entire employee lifecycle. Additionally, they will be the driving force behind talent planning, organization design, recognition and rewards, and skills development and planning. Responsibilities run the full spectrum of employee and business partnership and include championing values & culture, managing employee relations, employer brand, skills and performance development, policy interpretation, developmental training, and employee relations. This leader will work closely with Web.com’s business units and be responsible for addressing the needs of the executive leadership team.

Attract, Integrate, Deploy
•Partner with Talent Acquisition to hire and retain top talent
•Review/approve all hiring requests and job descriptions/competencies to ensure funding and headcount are reflected and approved in the annual operating plan
•Partner with HR site leaders to define, develop, and implement the successful integration of new talent

Develop
•Coach and advise executives and other leaders on the development and performance of their organizations
•Determine, analyze and monitor skills, competencies and capabilities across all roles and individuals
•Conduct talent needs assessments to identify organizational, functional, and individual learning and development opportunities
•Collaborate with L&D to respond to requests and needs from the client group. Consult on training solutions and customize programs based on the needs of each team
•Deliver business unit specific informal and formal learning solutions
•Gather, organize and analyze information regarding the impact of learning solutions against key business drivers using metrics and analytics to inform organizational decision making

Contribute
•Work with executive leaders to determine the needs of their organizations
•Consult with client group leadership regarding change management, organization design, structure, and career paths
•Provide strategic consultation and advice to managers regarding employee relations and development opportunities for employees at all levels
•Partner with local HR Leaders regarding employee relations and performance management issues
•Build and maintain strong collaboration and partnership with local HR leaders to deliver support to client groups and local culture in each office
•Facilitate cyclical talent management programs including annual impact and development discussions
•Collaborate with HRLT peers to enhance Web.com’s HR processes
•Identify and assess engagement needs within the business
•Analyze engagement survey results for client group and facilitate follow up activities
•Identify opportunities for team building activities
•Partner with benefits experts to make sure we are applying Web.com’s best practices consistently across the organization

Recognize, Reward, & Release
•Retain and attract the best employees based on compensation benchmarking and other industry best practices; including partnering with our compensation expert on annual and bi-annual variable reviews
•Work with Local HR Leaders to ensure consistency and any client group sensitivity regarding exiting employees

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or human-resources related field
•Bias for action, ability to work in a fast paced environment
•Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information; strong ethics, integrity, and judgment
•Team player who is willing to get “hands dirty” and wear different “hats”
•Strong ability to prioritize and maximize time
•Perseverance and drive for results
•Interpersonal courage and ability to effectively deliver feedback
•Effective balance of taking initiative, working independently, and collaborating with other key stakeholders
•Demonstrated proficiency partnering with and influencing business leader

Minimum Experience Required:
•5+ years of HR generalist and employee relations experience
