Salesforce Manager

Our Corporate Engineering Team evaluates and supports all of Yext’s internal systems, as well as works to consistently improve internal efficiencies and processes used by the entire company.  We are looking for a Salesforce Manager to manage the team that maintains the enterprise-wide CRM implementation to ensure continued delivery of innovative, high quality solutions.  Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders across the company on both large and small projects, managing the Salesforce team through implementation, and coordinating roll outs.  You will manage the members of the Salesforce team, be their point of contact for career development, and shape responsibilities within the team.


  • Advance and maintain the enterprise-wide CRM implementation to ensure continued delivery of innovative, high quality solutions to meet Yext’s needs
  • Manage individual team members, including their career progression, shaping the team to both get work done and provide opportunities for individual team members
  • Identify and fill gaps in team through recruiting
  • Guide our architecture and vendor selection for Salesforce and vendors that integrate closely with the Salesforce platform
  • Contribute to project management, functional requirements, and Salesforce administration
  • Work with multiple departments to coordinate change management (release process)
  • Manage and prioritize ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in CS, IT, or related field
  • 8+ years of work experience in relevant roles
  • 3+ years of Salesforce administration experience
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize, communicate
  • Flexible, fast learner who thrives in a constantly-changing work environment
  • Works well under pressure
  • Able to juggle multiple projects and priorities in real time
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges
