A look at your day-to-day

  • Reports to the General Manager

Brand Management

  • Develop, enhance and drive brand image and positioning
  • Ensure the integrity of the YETI brand across ATL and BTL communications

Consumer Marketing

  • Drive the implementation of the YETI marketing strategy, and contribute to the evolution of that strategy over time … specific to the Australian + NZ market
  • Develop concepts and coordinate the production of these with the support of external agencies (locally or US based)
  • Conduct market research where appropriate
  • Develop + execute a PR + editorial plan

Community (Events, Sponsorships, Road Shows, Brand Ambassadors)

  • Implement a range of events, road shows, promotions, consumer promotion etc. designed to maximise brand awareness
  • Identify + then manage an Aussie + Kiwi brand ambassador program
  • Seek out sponsorship opportunities and build sponsor relationships (ie River guides, fly fishing lodges, etc)
  • Develop relevant and appropriate localised community marketing concepts

Trade Shows

  • Set up and attend various trade shows (SOTA, 4x4, boating, etc) + tell the YETI story

Trade Marketing

  • Localise global content to the Australian + NZ market (ie POS, brochures, marketing collateral etc)

Agency Management

  • In conjunction with the Country Manager, appoint a local agency to assist localization + graphic design needs
  • Liaise with the YETI global team and agency counterparts in the USA

 Digital Marketing

  • Working with the global team (based in Austin, Texas), develop and implement an effective + localized communications strategy via relevant social media 

Now for a little bit about you….

  • Marketing / Communications degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ brand management experience
  • Strong content marketing skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and meticulous
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication skills; impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Awareness of current technology, trends and best practices in retail and digital marketing
  • Able to prioritize and develop systems to do routine work efficiently
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Proven behavioural experience following the YETI Core Values
