JOB TITLE: Teaching Excellence Systems Administrator – Full Time (IMMEDIATE OPENING)

REPORTS TO: Director of Partnerships, Teaching Excellence

JOB GOAL: The TE Systems Administrator supports the planning, creation, and coordination of the TE technology systems environment, including availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of the systems and processes. This position plays an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint (Office 365) and other collaborative tools internal and external to the Office 365 environment. The Administrator must be able to work with very little supervision in a highly charged and fast paced environment.

ILLUSTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Utilize O365 Admin Center to support, administer, and troubleshoot the Teaching Excellence team and certification processes;
  • Develop, configure and maintain systems, document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections for critical Teaching Excellence processes and documentation. Perform typical system administrative activities such as site/system creation, adaptation, user training, restoration and issue resolution;
  • Provide guidance and support in the organization, training, and enablement of our teams to deliver scalable end-to-end resources, onboarding, and support services (i.e. ensuring smooth, quick, and efficient onboarding experience to Office 365 and systems used).
  • Deliver direct training to staff and/or provide train-the-trainer support to enable a scalable approach to enabling teams; this might include the collection, creation, and curation of training collateral in various formats;
  • Support projects and initiatives, ensuring timely & accurate communication to all stakeholders;
  • Communicate frequently and accurately with the Director of Partnerships and other Teaching Excellence team members;
  • Develop and maintain accurate information and databases of tools, artifacts, plans, and data for systems and activities;
  • Assist in content migration from internal Sharepoint site or other systems/tools/applications to Office 365;
  • Provide End User support with system/technology issues;
  • Continuously review, analyze, monitor and improve the current Office 365 SharePoint environment;
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to users;
  • Know how to use Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), Sharepoint Designer and One Drive for Business;
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution

Experience:

  • Previous experience creating and managing site creation in a Sharepoint environment with Office 365 or Sharepoint 2013.
  • Candidate should have at least one year experience configuring and working with a Sharepoint environment in Office 365 or Sharepoint 2013.
  • Outstanding record of organization and communication skills
  • Experience in tactical planning and execution
  • Experience in customer service environments

COMMITMENT AND COMPENSATION:

Length of Work Year:

Year-round position; evening and weekend commitments also will be required
