JOB TITLE: Manager – Campus Operations (2017-2018)

REPORTS TO: School Director

JOB GOAL: The Manager – Campus operations is responsible for managing the school’s general business operations.

ILLUSTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Provide and/or supervise required reports for all school operations including, but not limited to, enrollment, attendance, funds accounting, payroll, meals and transportation;
  • Manage daily administrative operations including establishing work priorities and assisting in resolving problems related to day-to-day operations of the school;
  • Aide the School Director in the development and implementation of the schools Master Schedule;
  • Serve on school-based leadership team;
  • In partnership with school-based leadership team, ensures proactive planning and training around all emergency operating procedures; maintains campus security in accordance with local, state, and federal laws;
  • Responsible for maintenance of entire office, including reception, storage rooms, conference rooms, and other common areas;
  • Maintains office security: administration of security passes and I.D. badges provided to all employees and students;
  • Oversees, coordinates, maintains, and/or processes payroll time sheets, sick and annual leave documents, travel reimbursements, purchasing documents, and/or employment documents for school based faculty and staff;
  • Oversees the maintenance of school-based records;
  • Ensure all classes and duties are covered when staff members do not report to work;
  • Supervise the school’s auxiliary services – transportation, food service, and vendor relationships;
  • Maintain and and/or supervise cash receipts and disbursement journals;
  • Manage and inspect the use of the YES plant and grounds, supervise the maintenance to the physical plant and grounds to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment;
  • Demonstrate trustworthiness in dealing with confidential matters;
  • Aid the Talent Support team in the acquisition and on-boarding of new employees and the exit of former employees;
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
  • 1-2 years of business, operational, and managerial experience

COMMITMENT AND COMPENSATION:

Length of Work Year:

12 month position; evening and weekend commitments also will be required
