Yelp WiFi, Partner Solution Engineer

Yelp WiFi is looking for a technology professionals with a passion for enabling a large roster of high potential channel partners. Yelp WiFi has over 150 partners in over 50 countries and is looking for a self-starter with a proven track record of partner enablement who is equally as comfortable supporting a SaaS platform running over wireless networks as they are working with our partner’s technical teams to help customers get the most out of the platform. 

About the Gig:

  • Help onboard and train the engineering/technical teams of Yelp WiFi’s global reseller partners, including Telcos, ISPs, and VARs
  • Ensure the successful use of Yelp WiFi as soon as a partnership contract is signed, from onboarding to product marketing strategies and account retention
  • Design and standardize partner technical onboarding and training processes, including webinars, kickoff sessions and support materials
  • Become a product expert, engaging with the engineering and product teams to understand the core platform as well as our APIs and future modules
  • Provide strategic sales engineering support for key partners and customers, including custom integrations and project management
  • Collaborate with the partner team to engage with the partner community

About You:

  • 2-5 years of technical support experience in a SaaS or equally software-driven environment
  • Solid understanding of cloud-managed wireless networks and infrastructure (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, etc.)
  • Experience working in a support or sales engineering capacity with SaaS or networking products
  • Existing relationships within the North American MSP, VAR, and/or DMR space is a positive
  • Familiarity with SQL and basic database queries
  • A desire to get into a high-growth and fast paced technology company
  • The ability to just ‘get’ technology - there is no tech mystery you can’t solve!
  • An interest in tackling problems outside of your comfort zone
  • An independent and self-motivated individual that can both work autonomously and as part of a close-knit team
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • You are highly motivated, energetic and a master of time management
  • You thrive under pressure and in environments that are always evolving
  • Comfortable with intermittent travel
