Human Resources Business Partner

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as trusted resource to directors, managers and employees on a wide variety of human resources topics including policy interpretation, benefits, medical leaves and accommodations, workers’ compensation, workplace investigations, and pay related issues 
  • Coaches and counsels managers and leaders on employee relations issues, performance management and employee development to drive employee success and retention 
  • Works closely with Sales leadership to cultivate a positive work environment and develop employee engagement programs
  • Identifies and develops HR training as needed
  • Reviews, analyses and makes recommendations from data collected from our various surveys
  • Supports managers and employees during onboarding and exit process 
  • Drives HR projects as needed including, but not limited to, creating and recommending enhancements to HR processes and projects that drive HR Roadmap goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years HR Generalist experience in a rapidly growing company (preferably supporting a Sales teams)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Highly experienced with the nuts and bolts of HR including performance management, investigations, legal compliance (COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, CFRA, etc), benefits and payroll
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills; builds trust easily
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and use good judgment
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently with a clear understanding of when to escalate issues
  • Ability to effectively work with a remote reporting structure
  • Analytical-minded; demonstrated proficiency with HR metrics and reporting
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Well-honed presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic, positive and solutions-oriented mindset
