PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT ANALYST/EDUCATOR

Reports to the Director, Clinical Materials Management (CMM), Responsible and accountable for improving quality and efficiency of the health system supply chain operation and the satisfaction of internal and external customers. Provides project management expertise necessary to drive significant service improvement throughout supply chain. Supports all delivery networks in the Health System, including YNHH, Bridgeport Hospital/ Greenwich Hospital. Responsible for independent action in project oversight, systems design and implementation, quality improvement and a variety of special projects. Identifies and monitors key critical to quality measurements in the department. Assesses staff performance and competency relative to standards of performance, recommends development plans and provides education and training to support performance improvement. Assists in the development and implementation of programs to improve process efficiencies, quality, and service throughout the system. In collaboration with management, assists in defining opportunities for improvement, measuring key performance indicators, monitoring and achieving operational objectives and functions as an internal consultant to management relative to process and outcome evaluation and improvement.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

 

Bachelor degree required

 

EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum of one year leading performance improvement projects preferably within healthcare setting

 

SPECIAL SKILLS

 

Performance improvement tools, techniques and methodologies to include Six Sigma, CAP workout and LEAN. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Development and presentation of PowerPoint slides, supportive data and analytics. Public speaking and presentation skills.
