Performs selected patient care duties and may assist other care providers under the direction of an R N. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



Good interpersonal skills, Successful completion of orientation. Must have command of English language, both reading and writing.



High school diploma required.



A minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred. This position will have no patient contact.



MMR is required. Varivax (chicken pox vaccine) or evidence of prior chicken pox is required. Hepatitis B (or signed declination) is required for those with potential exposure to blood/body fluids. Tdap and influenza vaccination are strongly encouraged. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger. handle, or feel; and talk or hear. They are frequently required to reach with hands and arms. They are occasionally required to sit. They must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Incumbents as well as external and internal applicants who become disabled must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without the assistance of reasonable accommodation as determined on a case by case basis.
