We are seeking a Corporate Executive Assistant for our SOMA office to assist clients in a fast-paced environment. Our SOMA office focuses on serving the legal needs of entrepreneurs, early-stage businesses and mature companies, as well as the angel and venture investors who finance them. It is an open and collaborative work space and the successful candidate will become an integral part of the team. The office provides advice and representation on a full range of legal and strategic issues vital to young businesses, ranging from financing to the protection of intellectual property, governance to employee compensation, real estate to mergers and acquisitions. In this position you will be assisting with incorporations, venture capital financings, and general corporate client maintenance, including maintaining corporate records and stock and option administration.

The ideal candidate demonstrate proficiency in corporate/transactional matters in a law firm or in-house legal department. This position requires excellent written and oral communication, organizational and prioritization skills. Duties will include coordinating meetings, maintaining attorneys' calendars, client file management, assisting with matters related to finance (including review of pre-bills and processing of vendor invoices), editing and formatting electronic documents, and preparing client engagement letters that may involve unique and complex arrangements. Other responsibilities will include assisting attorneys with direct client contact, preparations for client presentations and meetings, and . This person must be committed to producing a high quality of work product, have excellent judgment, and superior verbal and written communication skills. Strong PC skills (including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook) required. You should be able to work well with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and other executive assistants within this office and the firm.
