What will you be doing?
The Director of Regional Operations leads a team of Order Management, Procurement, and Planning Leaders accountable for developing and executing strategic operational objectives. Reporting to a senior leader within Global Order Operations, this role is responsible for developing strategies, policies, and procedures that optimize value and create a world-class order management organization. This person also takes overall accountability for operational excellence, customer delight, and strategic thought leadership across all operational functions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize value and create a world-class order management group.
- Establish goals and objectives, including stretch targets, in coordination with corporate objectives, and manage performance to ensure attainment.
- Mentor, coach, and contribute to the development of the leadership team on policies, procedures, and best practices while promoting professional growth.
- Guide execution and cross-functional accountability throughout WWT Supply Chain.
- Take overall accountability for operational excellence and customer delight.
- Lead and drive strategic thought leadership across all functions.
- Communicate clearly to drive expectations and instill consistency among the team.
- Steward the culture through utilization of the World Wide Technology Integrated Management and Leadership tools and concepts.
- Establish long-term capability and resource planning to continue the evolution of teams.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with other functional groups.
- Identify scaling opportunities across the global organization using industry best practices and processes.
- Identify areas of opportunity for better organizational alignment in communication, responsibility allocation, and structure.
- Support the department through the escalation process, driving critical issue resolution through collaboration with executive leadership internally and/or externally.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management required.
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience, including the management of direct reports.
- Minimum of 10 years of supply chain-related experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) - Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) preferred.
