What will you be doing?
We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Director specializing in Cyber Resilience to lead our customer's efforts in strengthening its ability to anticipate, withstand, and recover from cyber threats. This role involves overseeing the development of customer resilience strategies, managing a team of cybersecurity professionals, and ensuring that our systems and processes are robust against cyber risks.
As a Cybersecurity Practice Director, you will lead large, complex or multiple practice areas, focusing on strategic growth, client relationship management, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with senior leadership to define practice strategies, services, solutions, capabilities, drive business development initiatives, and ensure the delivery of exceptional services. This role will contribute to WWT's success by being a servant leader, promoting a culture of operational excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of impactful solutions to our clients.
The Practice Director works with minimal direction toward long-range goals. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Determines and pursues courses of action essential in obtaining desired results. Takes calculated risks. This position manages people and could travel up to 25%.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cyber resilience strategies to enhance a client's ability to prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents.
- Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity experts, fostering a culture of resilience and continuous improvement.
- Conduct client risk assessments and threat modeling to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are in place.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate resilience practices into business processes, incident response plans, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging threats and vulnerabilities to adapt and strengthen client resilience strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to cyber resilience.
- Report to senior management on the status of cyber resilience initiatives, including risk assessments, incident responses, and improvement plans.
Thought Leadership and Go-To-Market
- Define cybersecurity service offerings and develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies based on industry needs and market demand within cyber resilience.
- Develop relevant thought articles that help establish WWT as experts across service offerings and demonstrate their value to new and existing clients.
- Become a trusted resource for WWT in your cyber resilience and fields of expertise.
Sales support
- Partner with sales and account teams to support service offering go-to-market strategy execution and pipeline development.
Delivery
- Utilize metrics (e.g., utilization, pipeline, financial metrics, etc.), analytics, and other reliable data sources to enhance decision making and quality of client deliverables
- Work cross functional with various teams and key stakeholders to achieve scalable solutions and exceed client project expectations
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Practice Development & Operational Excellence
- Define and implement strategic plans for multiple practice areas, aligning with organizational goals and market opportunities.
- Lead the development of practice roadmaps, initiatives, and performance metrics to achieve growth targets
- Help to motivate the organization to continuously improve and identify inefficiencies that may prohibit progress
- Create value, build knowledge and have bold visions that progress the organization forward at scale
- Support team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary
- Arrange and sponsor appropriate assignments and experiences to help support team in their long-term career aspirations
- Mentor future leaders, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional advancement
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Practice Managers and consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support career development opportunities.
- Oversee operational aspects of the practices, including resource allocation, project management, and financial performance.
Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture internal relationships with the goal of strong collaboration across multiple teams in WWT
- Demonstrate servant leader mentality by being a motivational/coaching leader to aid in maximizing team performance
People/Team Management:
- Support team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary
- Arrange and sponsor appropriate assignments and experiences to help support team in their long-term career aspirations
- Mentor future leaders, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional advancement
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Practice Managers and consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, cybersecurity or a technology related field required. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in management consulting, relationship(client and internal) management, and solution strategy with proven leadership achievements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading a team
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and operational excellence.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships at senior levels.
- Ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of financial principles and ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
- Deep knowledge and experience in consulting practices, with a focus on delivering value-added solutions to clients.
- Strong business acumen, with extensive knowledge of various industries and market dynamics

Compliance/Framework Experience in one or more of the following:
- NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-30, ISO 27001/2, HIPPA, GDPR, FFIEC, CIS, COBIT, HITRUST, CSA CCM, AICPA SOC 2, Third Party Risk Management, IT Risk Management
Industry Experience - significant experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Financial Services, Health & Life Sciences, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Retail, Public Sector, Mergers & Acquisitions
