Senior UX Manager

Manage a team of UX designers and researchers who continuously strive to improve the user experience by solving real user problems whilst still meeting business goals.  Champion the UX team within the business, educating and enhancing the function. Own the experience of all WorldFirst platforms and drive the success of day to day execution and at a strategic level.

The role requires you to:

 

  • Manage and grow a successful UX team, responsible for product design and user research globally
  • Responsible for delivering a world class journey between all channels and platforms; marketing website, trading platform, mobile app and internal systems.
  • Lead user experience for large multichannel projects spanning multiple squads
  • Work hands on when required to support work by creating sketches, concepts, user journeys, wireframes and prototypes
  • Build out UX roadmap to meet strategic goals as well as informing & contributing to product roadmaps
  • Ensure effective & efficient delivery on the global testing & optimisation strategy, ensuring a localised approach in each region
  • Take responsibility for communicating UX pipeline across the business, and cascading high level business and process directives to team members
  • Use a collaborative approach to establishing a strong understanding and necessity for UX within the business and evangelise all things UX
  • Work with team to facilitate the UX design process within cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, in order to resolve business and user experience issues
  • Educate, innovate and champion user testing methodologies and inform stakeholder of outcomes and deliverables
  • Own and champion the creation, maintenance and adoption of digital style guidelines, personas and customer journey maps.

 

 

You should have:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years proven UX experience including sketching, wireframe building, prototype creating
  • Proven experience in carrying out research across multiple methodologies with a solid understanding of data outcomes and how to turn these into actions
  • Proven experience in managing people
  • Good understanding of CSS and HTML
  • Proven experience working in an agile framework
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and confidence to back decisions made based on research
  • Experience in managing budget
  • A true passion for user experience with the customer at the heart of everything you do
  • Great attention to detail
  • A strong understanding of users, the market place and of future trends for Payments / FX.

  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Education – degree or equivalent qualification
  • Ability to travel globally
