Successful Maintenance Technicians come from various backgrounds including: apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel and recent technical school graduates.

In this role, you must have working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service including the ability to troubleshoot problems and provide superior customer service. You will respond to maintenance issues, follow-up with residents and office staff, and handle routine issues for appliances, pool, and building upkeep. Some weekend work and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hour emergencies is required. A free, on-site apartment is included!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be a valuable member of the maintenance team. You will be responsible for checking, troubleshooting, and making routine repairs in the following areas:

  1. Appliances
  2. Air Conditioning
  3. Heating
  4. Electrical
  5. Plumbing
  6. Carpentry
  7. Pools
  8. Other building maintenance items

In addition to the skills listed above, Technicians are responsible for compliance with all OSHA regulations and any applicable laws in your area regarding health, safety, or environment, as well as budget and key control. You will deal directly and consistently with the residents of our high-end properties to analyze and resolve issues. Resolving issues must be done in time and in an efficient manner - both timely and accurately with a sense of urgency and customer focus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:The successful Apartment Maintenance Technician must have apartment and / or residential maintenance experience. This individual will be dealing regularly with our high-end clients and must be presentable with excellent communication skills. Proper conduct is essential. Additionally:
  1. Individual must be AC qualified and able to read wiring diagrams
  2. High level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations (I.E. pool maintenance, appliances, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
  3. Capable of performing sustained manual labor
  4. May require overtime, holiday, and weekend work
  5. Must be on-call
  6. Requires ownership of hand tools
  7. Ability to work in inclement weather
  8. Great time management skills
  9. Drug testing and background checks are an employment requirement
