General Purpose:

Drive the performance measurement, analysis and reporting of corporate digital marketing activities. This position is an SEO expert, PPC strategist and web analyst all in one. Ensure websites have been optimized to attract and engage customers/prospects and partner with Business lines to drive SEO in content creation.

Leverage web measuring tools and new technologies including Google Analytics product suite, SEMRush, Screaming Frog and others. Demonstrate expertise across online marketing ecosystem: SEO, SEM, Social, Web 2.0, etc.

Interpret data into meaningful stories and actionable insights to improve website performance and increase online search visibility.

The Digital Marketing Analyst reports to the Director of Digital Strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Studies website behavior patterns using site metric tools to analyze and optimize business results and user experience. Uses quantitative data gathered with software measurement tools, traffic extracts, click streams and drill-downs to develop an understanding of customer behavior, demographics and lifecycle. Coordinates report requirements with internal customers to meet business objectives. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations. Typically requires proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture. This position is an SEO expert, PPC strategist and web analyst all in one.

Lead the implementation, tracking and analysis of data informing digital experiences that stimulate Brand consideration and conversion. Help develop a marketing attribution model.

Implementation:

Review and assess all web analytics, coding and tracking. Develop and execute plan to clean up, rebuild, and/or restructure web analytics tools relating to website traffic behavior and Digital marketing channels. Coordinate with technical team to ensure accurate and comprehensive web analytics implementation, site tagging and successful deployment of new solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure full lifecycle tracking.

Traffic analysis:

Thorough and constant analysis of all sources of traffic and growing trends. Optimize traffic volume and conversion value by channel origin (search, social media, links, affiliates, etc.) and by specific media (Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). Strong emphasis on SEO and SEM analysis.

Website Analysis:

In-depth understanding of website user experience, A/B testing and sales funnel. Optimize traffic to grow overall conversion rates. Use heat mapping and other methods to identify website issues and opportunities.

Analyze and dissect sales funnel, drop-off areas, and how, who, and where customers are converted. Identify opportunities for website customer segmentation and user paths. Collaborate with Business teams to leverage clickstream data with other sources to help inform predictive modeling of visitor quality, conversion, retention and more. Identify opportunities for deeper analysis and optimization to increase conversion or drive revenue.

Social Analysis:

Collect and synthesize data across social media tools and platforms to provide a cross channel view of social media efforts. Measure, track, and evaluate engagement value, content themes, keywords and user behaviors.

Reporting:

Develop valuable insights based on the findings, not just the numbers. Ensure all tracking and reporting is accurate, relevant and provides improvement recommendations. Integrate data across inbound channels, website and CRM platforms to identify issues and opportunities.


Qualifications:

Minimum Required Qualifications:

•7+ years of experience in a digital or website analytics position preferably in a interactive agency environment.

•7+ years of experience using leading web analytics and optimization tools (i.e Adobe/Omniture/SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics 360, Adobe Test & Target, Monetate, Optimizely, etc.)

•7+ years of experience as a digital analyst focused on aggregating customer interactions into a complete profile

•Proven ability to understand data, identify key trends and opportunities and deliver actionable insights/recommendations

•Strong analytical aptitude - degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Web Analytics OR demonstrated analytical and technical ability

•Google or Adobe Certifications

•Produce integrated content, social and engagement reports and plan outcomes.

•Demonstrated expertise monitoring client search rankings and auditing site content according to SEO best practices.

•Performed ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization. Expert user of analytics tools across multiple digital channels including mobile, display, search, social and online videos.

•Proven success managing and growing conversions on websites.

•Exposure to large-scale web-related projects experience.

•Marketing funnel /customer lifecycle experience.

•Salesforce CRM experience
