General Purpose:

This position is responsible for leading a team contributing to the global fleet product marketing initiatives for the company.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

As a Manager for Global Fleet Product Marketing, you have responsibility for a team that includes, but is not limited to the following:
• Develop and effectively communication and champion both long-term and short-term product marketing strategies and tactics to all stakeholders
• Lead a team to become experts in buyers'/customers' behaviors and buying criteria - then develop detailed buyer/customer personas that provide structure and insight for Product Development - then formulate a process for transferring that knowledge to the Sales channels
• Build a high-performing team to deliver product marketing strategy and content
• Develop a process for gathering, aggregating, synthesizing and socializing customer, market and competitive intelligence across Product, Marketing and Sales teams
• Establish 'voice of the customer' process for gathering, synthesizing, and disseminating customer feedback, needs and experiences 'information' throughout Product, Marketing and Sales teams
• Work closely with key stakeholders to develop unique product positioning and messaging that that differentiates global fleet products from others in the market
• Communicate the value of new/existing products to sales teams
• Responsible for working with Marcom team and overseeing the creation of Product content and sales materials and tools
• Develop the go-to-market strategy and work with Product Management and Marketing on launch plans that outline in detail how new products will be promoted and sold
• Responsible for working with public relations firm to communicate new product launches and uncover media opportunities for brand awareness and continued PR exposure
• Provide direction and professional development to a team of 2+ marketing individuals
• Provide accurate projections, manage budget and appropriate business metrics
• Ensure on-time, on-budget execution of product marketing plans through effective use of internal and external resources



Qualifications:

Minimum Required Qualifications For Consideration:

Strategic thinker with the proven ability to execute product marketing initiatives
• BA/BS at least 7+ years relevant experience in product marketing
• Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to lead teams and develop people
Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated success in the marketing of both new and existing products
Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated success in the development of strategic marketing plans
Demonstrated knowledge of market segmentation
• Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects with limited supervision
• Knowledge of sales tools and techniques
• Understanding of financial models to develop, support and evaluate marketing decisions
• Resourceful with the proven ability to efficiently and effectively execute plans
• Gain support for ideas in formal and informal settings
• Aptitude for copy writing, editing and proofing marketing communications
• Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing ever-evolving environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency-while not being quickly frustrated or easily flustered
• Ability to manage and handle ambiguity
• Strong self-motivation with a desire to make an impact, an infectious positive attitude, and an ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with all Microsoft Office software (including Project and Visio), Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to provide and exchange information requiring detailed explanation and discussions with various levels of internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to translate customer and market needs into effective marketing programs.
