We are looking for a Manager Field Sales Netherlands to come join our team in Breda.

The Role
The Manager Field Sales Netherlands is responsible for the management and coaching of the field sales team. The purpose is to increase profitable volume to WEX Cards in the Netherlands while
maximizing WEX's market.

  • Manage and coach the sales team consisting of field account managers.
  • Reach the yearly volume and margin objectives
  • Plan sales activities and closely follow up performances
  • Assign tasks and projects to the team
  • Manage the agents and resellers
  • New business development of potential agents/resellers
  • Agree contractual conditions and close deals
  • Set sales targets for the team
  • Closely track performance of the team- Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly
  • Solve conflicts in case of overlapping sales activities
  • Support credit team to reduce financial risks of outstanding invoices, overdue invoices, bad debt and/or fraud
  • Review & approve pricing strategy, including defining list prices.
  • Support pricing team to set up pricing tool for sales team.
  • Define reporting needs to closely follow up sales KPI's. Analyse results and report results to management.
  • Actively participate in defining, reviewing and executing strategy in close collaboration with management.
  • Regular visit (Key) business partners
  • Participate in different projects to extend and or improve new product and service offerings towards our customers.
  • Ensure agreed processes are respected within the team
  • Participate to define strategy and objectives and translate to sales team. Set appropriate actions to reach target
  • Provide feedback from sales experiences to improve card offers per segment

The Profile
  • 5+ years People Management experience in B2B Sales, Account Management and/or New Business Development
  • Strong negotiation skills at C-level
  • Market experience: Fuels, retail, automotive, leasing highly preferred
  • Analytical, excellent computer skills (word. Excel, ppt), decision taker
  • Ambitious to reach and exceed sales target
  • Positive and strong leader with strong change management skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English is a must
  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Keywords: result driven, service oriented, flexible, pro-active, analytical, creative, out of the box thinking, solution-minded and customer oriented.
