General Purpose:

This position will be a key contributor to the finance organization and will work collaboratively with the other accounting & FP&A team leaders and team members to support the Company's business objectives, finance projects and strategic efforts in a high growth environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Finance Strategic Business Support

Team effectively with the other finance team leaders to deliver high quality finance support to the management team, the business & to help drive operational results

Manage/drive various projects in support of the business or within finance

Apply technical knowledge and insight in support of business initiatives

Provide support on any strategic or diligence efforts for the business unit (BU)

Finance Team & Corporate Support

Assist/work with the finance team on reporting & communication of financial plans or results to the business leaders, to corporate or externally

Assist with/work with the finance team on requests for information

Assist with/work with finance team on corporate initiatives

Be primarily contact & drive internal control initiatives and audit support for the BU

Be primary contact for BU tax items including coordination with corporate tax

Support/assist with analysis & provision of financial information to the corporate tax team

Support/assist with sales tax evaluations/projects, as needed

Be primary finance contact for insurance items at the BU

Assist legal and risk management efforts with coordination of insurance questions/requirements/certificates of insurance/bonds

Other duties as assigned

Provide back-up to treasury function

Preferred Qualifications:

8 years of experience in accounting, finance and/or financial reporting

Combination of public accounting and private industry experience highly desirable

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Professional designation and/or advanced degree is preferable

Customer focused mentality with strong business acumen

Team mentality with strong learning agility and critical thinking skills

Strong self-motivation and ownership of responsibilities to drive them to completion

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks while keeping the big picture in mind

Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in practical application

Excellent skills with systems & Microsoft Office products, including Excel/Word/PowerPoint, etc.
