Co-op Internship- Inside Sales/Customer Development Representative

This role:

WEX is looking for students interested in working in a fast growing and complex B2B company. Responsible for marketing the company's specific products and/or services via telephone to existing customers. Expands existing customer relationships through cold calling. Emails marketing/ sales literature to prospective clients, keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as competitive posture of the company, and enhances awareness in the targeted existing customer base of the company and its products/services. Prepares activity and forecast reports.

Co-Op assignments at WEX range from 6 to 24 months with the flexibility to work around your school schedule. Our program is designed for both undergraduate and graduate students.

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities through the company's CRM, Salesforce.com to maximize portfolio potential.
  • Place outbound calls to existing customers to enhance product offering.
  • Overcome high level objections and qualify leads for product offering to existing customers as needed.
  • Meet established monthly sales quota.
  • Required to work established schedule within normal business hours within assigned territory.
