WeGrow Manager of Admissions

WeGrow is a new initiative by WeWork aiming to revolutionize the way we think about education, with a focus on enabling every human to unleash their superpowers. Our first conscious, entrepreneurial school opened in September 2018 in New York City for ages 3 years old through 4th grade and will expand to ages 2-10 for the 2019-2020 school year. We are deeply committed to supporting growth in children's minds, bodies, and souls through an integrated, individualized curriculum that challenges and elevates all aspects of the child.

Who We Want:

The Manager of Admissions will support WeGrow families and serve as a resource throughout the admissions process and beyond. The Manager of Admissions will understand and support the needs of our families, provide a seamless admissions experience and will be someone who truly sees the importance of placing children in the right surroundings, allowing them to explore their curiosities and realize their superpowers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Engagement to refine and create admissions processes

  • Develop, implement and execute enrollment strategies

  • Welcome and support families

  • Report on and maintain admissions data

  • Lead family tours

  • Coordinate and lead events such as open houses

  • Collaborate with the WeGrow team and maintain alignment as it relates to admissions

Ideal candidates will have:

  • On a path of personal growth with a desire to greatly impact the world - Someone who embodies the WE mentality

  • Strong project management skills, paired with a desire to complete all projects with integrity and efficiency

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, highly empathetic, energetic and driven

  • Ability to connect with others, build relationships and establish trust within the school and community

  • 5-10 years experience leading admissions(private schools within NYC a plus)

  • Organized, proactive, independent, and takes a results oriented approach in all efforts

  • Strength in both written and verbal communications

  • Must be located or willing to relocate within commuting distance of NYC
