Technical Program Manager

About the Role

WeWork is seeking a Technical Program Manager to Independently accountable for the innovation and execution of people, process and technology of a simple program of work with some guidance. Simple programs tend to be contained within an organization.. The successful candidate will be responsible for being the Corporate Technology lead developing project plans and managing projects for multiple Corporate Technology onboarding and integration work streams, facilitating conversations and collaborating with other teams across WeWork with appropriate stakeholders, identifying issues, and escalating risks. Additionally, the ideal candidate must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage and work to bring clarity through ambiguity and complexity, and support multiple projects simultaneously.

A Program Manager, managing a project or program to provide a complete solution for a business partner(s). Manages small and medium sized projects or programs or a portfolio of small projects where there is complexity, visibility, priority and risk to the business.

Projects may relevant to Application/Network/System/AV/etc.

Primary Responsibilities

Balance multiple products, services and projects at once and drive high velocity change.

Create technical specifications and processes using structured analysis and data modeling techniques (e.g. process flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams).

Able to use visual techniques, both in diagrams and informally on the whiteboard, that make it easier to understand and reason with difficult problems.

Participate in or may lead system and user acceptance testing efforts.

Build standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines for business liaisons and software developers.

Assist business liaisons to evaluate cost-benefit and ROI analyses.

Understand system interdependencies and collaborate with project teams accordingly

Develop and manage detailed project plans in tools like JIRA, Wrike, and Monday.com.

Manage vendor statements of work, project budgets, and invoice payments.

Develop detailed system requirements, test plans, and training materials.

Strong at problem solving and able to design solutions that meet a range of sometimes conflicting requirements.

Able to build strong personal relationships and trust.

Able to facilitate disparate stakeholders and team members and drive consensus in meetings, workshops, and one to one interactions.

Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Engineering, (or related field) and/or 7+ years' experience in Project Management

Organized, analytical, motivated, resourceful, flexible, and collaborative.

Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements

Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products.

Ability to partner with software and service vendors / engineers to identify course of resolutions.

Attention to detail focused on the finer details that make the difference.

Delivery focused, pragmatic, and driven to get practical solutions live.

A self starter with a proactive attitude who seeks out opportunities for yourself and your team; strong work ethic.

Positive attitude generating enthusiasm among team members.

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

In-depth understanding of iterative software development methodologies and software development life cycle.

Understanding of iterative and incremental Service delivery.

Experience implementing and executing according to Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.

Agile program management experience a big plus.

Experience using tools to capture user stories, test cases, sign-offs, etc. JIRA is preferred.

Experience using project management tools like JIRA, Wrike, Monday, and AirTable.

Strong Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint Skills

Certifications such as Agile, CSM, Lean Six Sigma or PMP a plus

Experience or knowledge of infrastructure and cloud technologies a plus
