Production Support Analyst, Workday Financials





About the Role

The Production Support Analyst, Finance Systems is responsible for supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the Workday Financials system. The Production Support Analyst will partner with business stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues, and pursue opportunities for increased efficiency. This role requires knowledge of Finance business processes and methodologies, along with excellent technical and problem-solving abilities.



Responsibilities




  • Support maintenance of Workday Financials configuration, including setup and functional configuration




  • Gather requirements for, create, and maintain master data changes required to accommodate rapid organizational growth




  • Work closely with the business teams to understand system pain points, determine root causes, and develop solutions to address issues




  • Implement solutions through successful design, development, testing, and deployment with required documentation




  • Ensure all configuration updates follow proper procedures and workflow in order to comply with internal audit requirements




  • Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements




  • Assist in resolving user how-to questions, and develop training documentation as necessary to minimize re-occurrences of user error




  • Log, route and manage support requests in ticket tracking system




  • Design and develop custom reports as required for business users and leadership




  • Configure and administer security in compliance with policies and procedures




  • Translate business needs into requirement specifications to outside vendors where applicable




  • Support Workday Release activities, including impact assessment and regression testing




  • Act with speed, while balancing quality and compliance





Required




  • 1+ years of functional Workday Financials experience. Implementation experience a plus.




  • Understanding of Finance processes, procedures and best practice




  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills




  • Proven communication skills, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability




  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good judgment, mature and positive attitude




  • Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environment
