Director of Sales, West

Flatiron School is looking for an amazing Director of On-Campus Sales in Denver, Colorado. This person will be responsible for creating and leading a successful sales strategy across Flatiron School campuses in our West Region.

The On-Campus programs are our largest business segment, and growing rapidly. As a leader, you will work hand-in-hand with the larger organization to ensure we maximize opportunity at all stages of the funnel to grow revenue and enrollments in their Region. This leader will partner across the organization to execute localized sales and marketing activities targeted at increasing the Flatiron's brand presence in newer cities and driving sales.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage revenue, sales targets, and other KPIs for relevant product lines
    • Successfully hire, train and manage the growing sales team
    • Define key sales & marketing strategies and budgets required to deliver, and drive successful execution to achieve targeted results
    • Own the inbound and outbound sales process for relevant product lines - Lead qualification, prospecting, pipeline building and opportunity identification
    • Personally take the lead on larger sales opportunities, successfully collaborating with other teams across the organization
    • Provide innovative, scalable solutions including data management and sales processes to achieve team goals (e.g. Salesforce)
    • Work cross-functionally with other departments, particularly the Marketing Team, Product Team, and Campus Teams to customize offerings, execute campaigns, and grow enrollments
    • Work closely within the Admissions team and across the organization to constantly analyze results and identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and programs
    • Measurably increase the company's brand presence, and ensure that all sales & marketing activities are "on-brand"

  • Qualifications:
    • College degree; MBA preferred
    • 8+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, and sales management experience (preferably within a B2C environment)
    • Education experience is a plus, but not required
    • Experience working in high-growth and/or early stage company environments
    • Expert presentation, analytical, meeting management, process definition, and communication skills
    • Experience managing teams and producing exceptional results
    • Knowledge of the Google Suite and Microsoft Excel (knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus)
    • A willingness to travel and spend sufficient time on the road to understand the business and regularly interact with teammates across the company and at corporate in NYC
    • Highly analytical, detail oriented and process driven
    • Highly adaptable and excited to operate in a fast-paced environment where the rules are often being defined just in time
    • Highly collaborative and great with people; will be a good listener and create relationships quickly with colleagues and partners in the business
    • A sense of humor even when things get tough
