Audio Visual Support Specialist

About the Role

The Audio Visual Support Specialist will be responsible for aiding the Audio Visual Services Team with the installation and support of AV equipment and in the provision of AV services to our Members and Team Members.  The ideal candidate should perform well under pressure, be passionate about providing the highest levels service and enjoy the challenge of being part of a high performing team.

Reporting to: Manager Audio Visual Support Services

Position Goals & Objectives

  • To put in place the metrics needed to monitor the availability and reliability of the infrastructure
  • To establish and support a minimum, baseline hardware and software standards for all WeWork locations
  • To deliver against Service Level Agreements (SLA) concerning infrastructure services to all members
  • To make the information about the availability and reliability of the AV infrastructure available to the community on a regular basis

 Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain company AV systems, including Crestron equipment and 70V audio systems.
  • Configure AV hardware and work with contractors for successful new rollouts
  • Apply existing AV standards to new location design
  • Assist in improving existing AV standards for conference rooms, common areas, background audio and digital signage
  • Assist with AV needs at company events
  • Research and develop new AV solutions as needed
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-­‐pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Ability to present ideas in a user-­‐friendly language.
  • Highly self-­‐motivated and directed.
  • Proven analytical and problem-­‐solving abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working in a team-­‐oriented, collaborative environment.
