Associate Creative Director

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Associate Creative Director to join us at Studio We - The We Company's in-house, brand creative agency. This role will be a lead member of WeWork's global Marketing team, focused on expressing the brand's visual identity through the development of transformative experiences, original concepts, sales collateral, brand activations and art direction that support sales, marketing, and brand strategies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams around the world, this role will develop world class creative while empowering the business to fulfill our mission-to create a world where people work to make a life, not just a living. The Associate Creative Director will manage designers and build consensus and alignment on creative to be presented cross-departmentally and to senior management.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with global marketing, product, and sales teams to develop strategic marketing experiences across mediums (sales material, digital, email, content marketing, events, multi-channel campaigns, etc.)

  • Tackle complex problems with distinctive creative solutions that enhance WeWork's unique offerings

  • Be a hands-on creative expert, managing a small team and leading workstreams from concept through implementation

  • Mobilize the design team to concept and execute inspiring work on tight timelines, creating an open environment for sharing and feedback

  • Create clarity of direction and action for your working team

  • Ensure all work is strategically sound, conceptually inspiring and creatively unique

  • Work closely with the creative operations team to meet deadlines and manage schedules for multiple cross-departmental projects

  • Partner closely with fellow creative leadership to ensure creative consistency, collaboration, and workflow alignment

  • Collaborate with and translate direction from the Creative Director to push forward projects

  • Help recruit top creative talent and build a network of external creative partners


  • 7+ years experience at a creative agency or in-house at a design-led brand. Bonus points for B2B, product-driven organizations, tech, or real estate experience.

  • 2+ years experience in a team management role with at least 2 direct reports

  • A strong, dynamic portfolio showcasing strengths in typography, design systems, visual storytelling and art direction across all mediums. Bonus points for experience in data visualization and information design.

  • Demonstrated ability to weigh business goals alongside creative outputs, leading a team accordingly

  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to provide clear rationale for work, with experience presenting to and collaborating with senior-level stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related visual communications field
