WES is looking for a social media savvy intern to manage our online community across platforms. This is a very public, fast paced community outreach role in which you will engage with WES clients offering updates and solutions to their social media queries.

This is a paid 6-month internship, located in our Austin office, available immediately.

Duties included but not limited to:

  • Monitoring our social media platforms and engaging with WES clients who reach out to us with questions and comments.
  • Providing customer service solutions that fit the context of these platforms.
  • Resolving issues and questions from the community while escalating appropriately to other departments as needed.

Position Requirements

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have experience in customer service in a previous capacity and an interest in applying that background to the WES community.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to assess each situation and know when a social media query should be escalated and not responded to directly.
  • Be level-headed!


  • Strong written communication skills (perfect grammar is a must!)
  • An understanding of how to maneuver across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, emails and blogs.
