About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Content Designer to join our Strategy, Digital, and Innovation team. The individual is an excellent copywriter who is strong in content strategy and customer experience. You'll collaborate with visual design, product, and technical teams to deliver clear empathetic, engaging digital experiences that are customer-focused and align to strategic business objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications and websites
- Create the most complex industry-leading user interface design solutions
- Lead teams of customer experience professionals during deployment of interaction design strategies
- Lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex and significant challenges across multiple areas of Content Design or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, broad-reaching, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and resolution
- Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding large-scale enterprise-wide Content Design strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations
- Strategically lead all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise; serve as an expert advisor to Content Design leadership; represent the company externally in industry networking and trade and technical events
- Write compelling copy for a complicated and highly personal space - financial institution experience is not required
- Leverage research data to build solutions that balance the needs of our users with our business goals
- Evolve the voice and tone of the brand and help evangelize the content practice within the organization
- Offer content design perspective throughout the product development process, influencing strategic decisions to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency.
- 7+ years of Graphic or Website Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience writing across a variety of digital platforms (mobile, desktop, web, and app)
- Ability to breakdown complex topics into concise customer friendly content
- Experience working cross-functionally and managing input from multiple stakeholders
- A ruthless editor that is willing to cut anything that does not add value
- Experience using content strategy and information architecture methodology to optimize content
- Figma proficiency
- UCD, Design Thinking
- An excellent presenter, who can sell ideas, create coalition, and build support
- An arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style
- This position is a hybrid work model and will not be a telecommute position, must be willing to work out of Charlotte, NC or San Francisco, CA approximately 3 days a week
$133,300 - $237,100
Pay Range
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00 Annual
