Department Overview
Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) provides a full range of personalized wealth management, investment and retirement products and services to clients across U.S. based businesses including Wells Fargo Advisors.

About the Role
Application/Web systems analyst support role within Wealth & Trust Technology division within WIMT.

Acts individually and with team guidance in providing application support, system maintenance, code deployment, and design guidance and consultation utilizing basic understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
Participates in systems integration validation testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
Develops new or maintains existing documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan

Essential Qualifications
Bachelor Degree with 4+ years of IT exp.

Must have solid fundamental troubleshooting skills in deploying, supporting, installing and configuring multi-tier, enterprise applications that can be applied to all levels of a heterogeneous technology ecosystem (primarily Unix/Linux, Weblogic or comparable middleware, with some Windows/.Net and IIS web server products experience desirable, some Open Source interactions).

Experience and expertise with production incident management with multiple stakeholders a high preference. Excellent communication skills are necessary and effective cross-team collaboration and documentation skills a desirable premium.

Must have production support experience in a 24x7 environment or proven ability to succeed in similar environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of Network Security Protocols and Encryption Methods
  • Understanding of Active Directory, BOKS, Power Broker and other directory services
