Corporate Finance
Corporate Finance plans, tracks, analyzes and reports financial results; manages the company's balance sheet, including liquidity and funding, capital and investments; oversees internal real estate needs; drives acquisitions; is responsible for financial controls; and leads corporate strategy. Corporate Finance identifies areas of financial risk and mitigates efforts appropriately. It works with capital markets to provide lowest possible costs of incremental funding, subject to capital and financial risk management constraints. It improves financial performance by analyzing business unit performance and recommending areas of improvement. The group strives for excellence in customer service and client support by exhibiting behavior that is fair, reasonable, ethical, and professional.
The Role
This position will report to the Head of Securitization Funding within the Treasury organization. This individual will partner with the Head of Securitization Funding to build and manage Securitization platforms for Credit Card Receivables, Auto Loan Receivables, Mortgage Receivables, and all other asset classes deemed appropriate by the Treasurer, across the firm.
Specific responsibilities of the Securitization Officer include:
•Build and maintain securitization platforms by partnering with key constituents to build out regulatory requirements, operational systems, and strategic analytics across all target asset classes.
•Responsible for performing quantitative analyses including: market analyses, competitor analysis, and collateral tie-outs.
•Support Head of Securitization Funding in the creation of management presentations including: investor presentations and rating agency presentations.
•Provide analytical support across the Treasury Strategy and Structured Funding platform.
•Develop deep partnerships with various stake holders, including, but not limited to: Mortgage Business, Credit Card Business, Risk, Regulatory, Legal, WFS, Accounting Policy, Treasury-Liquidity, Treasury-Funding, and Treasury-Financial Performance Management.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting

Desired Qualifications
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
  • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
  • 3+ years of financial services experience

Other Desired Qualifications
•2+ years experience with securitization or other debt capital markets activity
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus
•Ability to translate complex technical concepts so they are clearly understood to support sound decisions
•Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, actively lead projects / discussions, work through problems, and reach decisions that are in the best interest of the Company and customers
•Proven leadership, team building, and partnership skills
•Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to present information in order to create understanding and influence decisions
•Ability to drive organizational change and develop innovative solutions
•Exceptional track record of delivering results
