The Enterprise Quality Engineering (EQE) group works with the Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Lines of Business (LOBs) and other partner organizations to deliver technology solutions to Wells Fargo customers and team members. EQE is a service provider offering Quality Engineering services for the Enterprise including: Establishing QA standards and methodology, developing test strategy, test planning and execution of various test types, defect management and reporting, test environment and test data management along with Enterprise wide Governance and Reporting.
About the Role
Performance tester/engineer with proven experience in performance testing of web-based/client-server applications and backend testing
•Creates, prepares, and conducts Performance Testing /Engineering reviews and develops standard Test Methodology test plans.
•Is a liaison between our SPLI team and the application development teams to gather requirements, schedule testing, facilitate testing meetings, coordinate and reports on SPLI test results for assigned projects
•Serve as a coordinator for all SPLI testing activities on assigned projects
•Uses functional knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving moderately complex SPLI test problems
•Handle multiple projects simultaneously
•Work nonstandard hours as necessary to support SPLI Testing efforts
•Prioritize tasks to ensure high quality services are being provided to Clients
•Author Performance test plans, and serve as a coordinator for all testing activities.
•Perform SPLI tests to ensure all deliverables are production ready and as per SLAs
•Provide technical guidance of performance testing to application developers, architects, business partners and management
•Train new team members on Performance testing & Engineering and methodology
•Troubleshoot and resolve Performance Engineering issues.
•Perform performance Engineering tasks concurrently on multiple projects.
•Recommend enhancements and participate in driving initiatives within the PE group
•Additional responsibilities as directed by either the PE Team Management
•May have to work in off hour shift starting at 6:00 AM and ending at 3:00 PM or from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM
•Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 3-5 years of experience with Performance testing /engineering using LoadRunner
•Very strong in scripting using VuGen is desired
•Basic knowledge on DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Development activities
•Good to have Cloud based performance Testing experience
•Good to have certification on Load Runner or other performance Testing/Engineering tools and
•Application performance Monitoring tools
