Department Overview

Chief Technology Office (CTO) is created with a vision is to empower through continuous transformation in alignment with overall Wells Fargo Technology transformation. Enterprise Services and Portfolio Management is the group part of CTO focused on various aspects of technology transformation.

About the Role

As part of Wells Fargo Technology team, this is a management position responsible for managing a team of highly skilled technologists towards run the bank (Platform Management) efforts for applications in Enterprise Services and Portfolio Management part of CTO at WFT EGS. For Run the Bank areas, this role will manage Support and platform management related activities. The incumbent will also be a technical expert playing run the bank responsibility for a functional / product area. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect work units directly and indirectly managed and may affect other areas of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Technology Delivery:

Manage production support and maintenance activities of applications and multiple vendor products in multiple support frameworks (12X7, 12X5 etc) at WFEGS for Enterprise Services and Portfolio Management (ESPM). Responsible to work closely with stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed per agreed service timelines. Resolve environment availability issues and work with stakeholder teams for resolution and communication. Act as a Subject Matter Expert in recommending newer technology practices and upgrading systems as required by market and organization frameworks. Engage with technology teams to deliver production releases and proof of concepts. Plan for business continuity, under various disruption scenarios.

  • Strategic Technology Management:
Be a trusted strategic partner for WFT teams. Plan and manage skill portfolio of staff in view of future needs facilitate ideas and projects in accordance with agreed priorities

  • Talent/People Management:
Meet talent needs for the group including flexible and full time for technology delivery, responsible for creating opportunities for team members growth. Provide timely feedback and manage overall performance of the team members and ensure to build and sustain high performance work culture. Accountable for the overall engagement of the work group and manage attrition.

Essential Qualifications
  • 16 years of education, B.Tech/BE, 12 years of experience in Production/Platform Support role.
  • Experience in ITIL frameworks, Monitoring Tools HP -OVO and others, Knowledge on Splunk and experience in Automation.
