Department overview

This is for the CICD team which provides automated build and release solutions to applications teams across various lines of business. The CICD team provides support for CICD tools like Jenkins, Udeploy, TFS, Git, Artifactory etc.

About the role

This position will have the overall responsibility to ensure that the CICD tools (includes Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Chekmarx, Blackduck, Udeploy, TFS, Artifactory etc) function properly.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the tools are up and running (except for planned outages).
  • Communicate any downtime and maintenance schedules to customers and to the CICD team.
  • Patching and upgrading these tools.
  • If there are issues, address them in a timely fashion while keeping the customers and other stakeholder informed.
  • Lead a group of technology team members who are involved in the above work.
  • Ensure high performance from the team through coaching, training, regular feedback and corrective action where required.
  • Cross train the team to avoid single points of failures.
  • Manage oncall schedules and ensure coverage.
  • Interact and build a strong relationship with onshore partners.

Essential Qualifications
  • Knowledge of CICD tools including Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Chekmarx, Blackduck, Udeploy, TFS, Artifactory.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a 15 - 20 member team and produce good results consistently.
  • Ability to partner effectively with managers and team members in different time zones.
  • Ability to keep the team motivated and engaged while ensuring high performance.
  • Ability to triage issues quickly and work with customers to ensure timely closure of issues.



Market Skills and Certifications
Knowledge of CICD tools including Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Chekmarx, Blackduck, Udeploy, TFS, Artifactory.
Demonstrated ability to lead a 15 - 20 member team and produce good results consistently.
Ability to partner effectively with managers and team members in different time zones.
Ability to keep the team motivated and engaged while ensuring high performance.
