Market Job Description About the Application Competency Center
The Application Competency Center is accountable for governance of the lifecycle management of the majority of software products installed on Wells Fargo assets (servers, desktops, mainframe, network etc.). The work that we do is critical to the success of our Enterprise and our customers as our efforts are aimed at keeping our data and technology systems safe from cybersecurity exploits.
Ability to manage resources and deliverables on a variety of projects simultaneously, with changing priorities.
Experience managing teams which tracked and remediated software/application vulnerabilities is desired.
Experience managing/implement projects or organization wide efforts/initiatives is a plus
Manages a medium-sized technology work unit or one or two smaller, specialized work units.
Works on moderately complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of numerous factors.
Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect work units directly and indirectly managed.
Interacts with direct reports, customers and functional peer group managers regularly.
Manages staff, including selecting, training, coaching and evaluating their performance.
Responsible for conducting Performance appraisals and Development plans for team members.
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and with virtual team members
Strong relationship building skills.
Good people management skills and ability to manage staff
