Department Overview:
Payments, Virtual Solutions, Innovation (PVSI) group aims to provide technology across Payments, Digital channels, Innovation Solutions (ACH, Wire, Credit Card, Debit Card, ATM, Branch, Contact Center, Commercial Card, Lockbox, Sweeps, Cash Flow, Deposits, Push2Card) in the form of Services, Solutions, Software, Products and helps PVSI CIO group to move forward in transforming the technology organization. This includes collaborating with Risk Management, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy, Shared Service and Infrastructure teams

  • Product Capability - Build modular components, Deepen personalization, Product configuration and controls, develop tools/solution & framework for business
Key Responsibilities
  • To have a strong Technology stack on Java/Microservices/Angular/Cloud and implemented real time Application
  • Hands on in doing POC and able to lead the team on conducting the integration with 3rd party provider.
  • Should be able to sell the concepts and commercialize the ideas
  • Experience in implementing some new products and sub functions
  • Showcase the key engineering metrics that are managed by the role.
  • Demonstrate business partner value by understanding the business, advocating technology solutions to advance the line of business and other initiatives.
  • Deliver technology solutions with direct responsibility for Business Analysis/Development Teams and indirect responsibility for QA/Support
  • Recommend innovations, aligned with short term & long term business / customer requirements, enterprise priorities and industry trends.
  • Meet business & technology objectives including SLAs and program milestones
  • Proactively manage risk including deliverables, operational issues through implementation of right controls and escalate where required.
  • Partner and work effectively with CoEs and teams like EQE, Data,, Cloud, & Architecture.
  • Assess current staff capabilities, identify talent gaps, and execute talent management actions aligned with human capital strategy

  • Engage & influence the strategic directions for the application delivery
  • Be a trusted technology partner for global teams and India stakeholders
  • Closely work with Enterprise CIOs/CTOs and actively contribute to development of key technology strategies
  • Actively participate in global leadership meetings, demonstrate executive presence , be present & propose solutions proactively
  • Planning & Budgeting aligning to the medium and long term goals
  • Delivery management of EGS Vendors
  • Foster Diversity & Inclusion, and champion change within the group.
  • Build a strong Leadership pipeline & execute appropriate succession planning.
  • Act as coach and empower the Managers, Functional Leads & Technologists
  • Demonstrate accountability and co-ownership in a Matrix structure
  • Drive Innovation within the teams, foster collaboration
Desired experience profile
  • Must have 15+ years of experience, of which at least 10 years in Java Engineering and demonstrable ability for delivering transformation programs
  • Clear demonstration of ability to manage a 50+ technology team across multiple sites of an organization (preferably in GIC environment)
  • A seasoned, relationship-driven leader who will have the style and sensitivity to work within a highly complex business environment. Multi-cultural sensitivity a must.
  • Clear demonstration of Leading People through hands-on technology, functional knowledge & delivery
  • Change Champion.
