Department Overview
Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) provides a full range of personalized wealth management, investment and retirement products and services to clients across U.S. based businesses including Wells Fargo Advisors.

About the Role
Application/Web systems analyst support role within Wealth & Trust Technology division within WIMT.

Responsibilities
Acts individually and with team guidance in providing application support, system maintenance and code deployment.
Participates in systems integration validation testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.

Essential Qualifications
Bachelor Degree with 4year and must have production support experience in a 24x7 environment or proven ability to succeed in similar environment.

Experience and expertise with production incident management with multiple stakeholders a high preference.

Must have fundamental troubleshooting skills in supporting multi-tier, enterprise applications that can be applied to all levels of a heterogeneous technology ecosystem (primarily Unix/Linux, Weblogic or comparable middleware, with some Windows/.Net and IIS web server products experience desirable, some Open Source interactions).

Excellent communication skills are necessary and effective cross-team collaboration and documentation skills a desirable premium.

6 months plus of experience with primary applications below:

  • Exposure to middleware, application, monitoring technology concepts including or similar to:
    • Monitoring tools
    • Autosys scheduler and use
    • NDM file transmission
    • Basic DB connectivity and query capability
  • Enterprise hosted deployment capabilities or other deployment methodologies


Desired Qualifications

  • Installation, Configuration, and Operation of any of the following Middleware and OS access components:
    • Apache HTTPD Server
    • OpenSSL
    • Java 6 or Java 7
    • Linux/Unix or Windows IIS/.NET
  • Installation, Configuration, and Operation of one or more Java Based Middleware Platforms:
    • Oracle Weblogic (12c)
    • JBoss Application Server (AS 7)
    • RedHat/JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP 6)
    • Apache Tomcat (6 or 7)
