Enterprise Core Services (ECS) group is within the Enterprise Information Technology business and a critical component of the Enterprise CIO operating model aimed at providing common, consistent, and foundational software services and solutions to be used across technology at Wells Fargo. The group includes the strategic development and support of core information management services including data technology blue print, common data services, customer relationship management services and customer due diligence services to be leveraged across all technology teams in Wells Fargo. Additionally their Cloud enablement services is another strategic priority to re-engineer of a significant portion of Wells Fargo's large and complex application portfolio.
About the Role
Work with different groups in the core services horizontal organization in identifying common functions and features representing their capability
Enable & support transformation of the group into service based organization, and utilize the structure to conceptualize services
Identification, Evangelizing and implementation guidance for services in each of the groups in core services organization, in addition to providing information, samples and guidelines for costing models, metrics and SLA.
Works with engagement managers / service managers towards definition services and their roadmaps.
Own design, development and management of the Service platform which has Service description, Service façade, message transformation and service workflow.
Evaluate and select software products for each of the service platform components, and also do buy vs reuse vs built analysis.
Define onboarding process for Service publishers, and access management and onboarding for Service consumers.
Ensure the platform design and implementation software is consistent with guidelines and reference architecture defined by Enterprise architecture team and other enterprise level focus groups relevant to the topic.
Acts as an interface for service consumer systems and teams, core services teams publishing services,
Define and practice governance mechanism for service selection, implementation and onboarding.
Has ability to interact with developers, senior technologists, application and system architects and also senior management, with the level of details and abstraction needed.
Market Skills and Certifications
10+ Years of strong services development / SOA background using XML / SOAP / Rest technologies
Knowledge and experience in API management, Workflow, message transformation, Cloud foundry and Data technologies.
Knowledge of Micro services architecture, Hadoop based data architectures and UI frameworks is a plus.
