About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Architect responsible for leading impactful architectural stewardship, helping to establish, carry out the strategic direction for transformation, and modernization of the Corporate and Investment Banking Technology (CIBT) group within Enterprise Architecture domain. This organization is responsible for providing crucial architecture direction for technology efforts such as leading transformative architectural projects, recommending solutions, and aligning closely with business and Enterprise Architecture strategies and roadmaps. In addition, creating and gaining approval on all architectural designs, providing leadership, communicating the technical architecture strategy and direction to all impacted.

In this role, you will:
- Responsible for overseeing medium to high architectural impact projects, such as spread/macro e-trading platforms, and for owning the overall application architecture and design for assigned technical projects, partnering with business and technology stakeholders
- Responsible for reviewing and approving medium application architecture impact designs; Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex solutions and applications for CIB
- Responsible for communicating Enterprise Architecture strategy and direction to both management and application teams, directing implementation of said architecture
- Acts in a strategic role in the development and maintenance of application architectures for Capital Markets, ensuring compliance with Enterprise Architecture
- Assist with the definition of future technology architecture and strategy
- Assure with meeting quality, security, and compliance requirements
- 4+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of software development experience utilizing OOP and Java/.NET/C++
- 4+ years of experience working within Agile software development teams
- 3+ years of experience as application architect or systems architect
- Capital Market/FX OR financial services industry experience.
- Experience architecting microservices, APIs, APIGateway, Microservices patterns
- Strong knowledge of Integration patterns, Middleware technologies, Messaging technologies
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Design Patterns, DDD and RESTFul Architecture
- Ability to perform vendor evaluations
- Ability to communicate effectively, in written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
- Ability to develop and negotiate solutions with partners or clients including escalations as needed
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
- Ability to translate and present complex technical data across technical and non-technical groups
- Experience architecting critical software solutions using architecture design principles within enterprise environment
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
$115,900.00 - $206,100.00 Annual
