Department Overview

Capital Markets Technology portfolio consists of Technology solutions for Primary Markets /Investment Banking/GIB Municipal Products/Asset Backed Finance, various Secondary Markets Trading verticals (like Equities, Fixed Income, and Commodities etc.) and Institutional Investor Services (like Prime Brokerage, Futures Commission Merchant Services).Technology group is also organized as cross product horizontals (including Electronic Trading Services, Risk & Compliance Services, and Funding, collateral and liquidity management and Operations technology)

About the role

Looking for software engineer/ candidate to support Documentum applications @ EGS

Role and Responsibility

  • Provide prod support for Documentum Application
  • Monitor the batch jobs and ensure that they complete as per the SLA
  • Troubleshoot and Fix all issues for any batch job failures
  • Make appropriate communications for all prod issues, and follow the right escalation process
  • Send various status reports in SLA
  • Perform health checks for the prod application to ensure that they are available to business during the SOD
  • Work in 2 shifts - Morning and Afternoon to provide 16 hrs support coverage
  • Essential Qualification
  • Bachelor Degree with 6+years of work exp in IT and Documentum Support
  • JOBS Monitoring - Autosys Jobs Monitoring in UNIX & JIL Language
  • Scripting Lang - Shell & Perl Scripting
  • Data Base - SQL & Pl/SQL (Oracle / Sybase ) or SQL Server
  • Other tools - Putty, Aqua Data studio / Any other DB tools for SQL & PL/SQL
  • Messaging Tool - MQ or JMS or any other messaging tool.
  • Operating Systems - Linux & WINDOWS 7
  • Soft Skill - Good communication skill, and ready to work in shifts

Desired to have Skills

  • Domain Knowledge - Capital Market - Fixed Income front office (candidate should have worked on this domain, but no thorough knowledge required)
