2+ Years of experience in Software Testing with exposure to Automation and Database testing
PeopleSoft knowledge/HR Domain would be preferred
Good experience in UFT/Selenium and should be able to efficiently execute, debug failures and functions in library files.
Must have strong understanding of the SDLC and Testing life cycle
Able to write Medium level queries with exposure to database testing
Analyze business requirements/FSDs and find and communicate requirement gaps
Contribute to test plan documents and write test procedures
Document test plans within current guidelines by analyzing project requirement documents
Ensure that the Test Coverage is appropriate and meets the requirement of the project.
Execute test cases and report test results
Raise defects in defect tracking tool
Contribute towards Estimation and Sizing of testing activities
Should be able to Identify problem areas in projects and communicate them.
Contribute metrics collection and status reporting.
Exposed to Onsite/Offshore model and can articulate to the state side partners
Strict adherence to timelines and focus on deliverables
Excellent understanding of defect life cycle
Exposure to other testing flavors such as database / Web Services / ETL will be an added advantage
Knowledge of any defect tracking tool - HP ALM or equivalent
Good analytical skills and problem solving skills
Good interpersonal skills and good team connect
Strong oral and written communication
Market Skills and Certifications
ISTQB Certification will be added advantage.
