Senior Lead Technology Business Services Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Services Consultant to function as our Finance Technology Portfolio Lead . This position is responsible for leading all aspects of the planning, reporting and governance of our change the bank book of work Finance Technology and will work closely with Finance Product and Change Management and other Technology domains to coordinate and facilitate work required to effectively manage demand/capacity allocations through our enterprise tooling and processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Finance Technology through the companywide annual planning process to assess technology initiative demand and to align with the Finance Technology capacity and budget. Align with company and WFT guidelines while providing a streamlined experience.
  • Establish reporting and insights throughout the year needed by Finance Technology, Product, and domain leaders to adjust to changing conditions throughout the year relating to Technology demand and capacity required to fulfill Product objectives.
  • Report on Product objective and OKR accomplishments in partnership with Finance Product and Change Management, Delivery Leads and Product Technology Leads.
  • Provide leadership around the incorporation of agile demand/capacity practices into technology investment management practices for Finance Technology. Partner with Technology Finance to monitor actual consumption of funding against planned amounts.
  • Coordinate with other technology organizations around the initiation of Product demand (Interlock) and new efforts which span multiple Technology domains.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and significant challenges across multiple lines of business or the enterprise.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Finance Technology Initiatives and Agile Transformation team around defining usage of demand and capacity planning tools. Ensure effective understanding and usage of tools across the Finance Technology organization.
  • Define, plan, develop the processes to delivery on major information technology strategies or ongoing programs with broad cross technology impact.
Required Qualifications, US:

  • 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate complex materials and processes to a diverse audience.
  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Highly collaborative and strong relationship management skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to influence across all organization levels, particularly senior management.
  • 3+ years of strategic planning and development experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • 1+ year of leadership or management experience
  • Experience managing large technology efforts within major line of business.
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with translating, presenting, and communicating complex topics and data in both written and verbal formats to a diverse audience including senior executive-level leader through education, enhanced understanding, and the ability to influence decisions.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy to take quick action on business issues, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions.
  • Experience with Wells Fargo Enterprise Change Management tools and reporting.
  • Ability to use collaboration tools like JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence and MS Teams.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile process and experience moving teams and organizations from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and AgileTransformations.
  • Wells Fargo business services experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
