About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to support the implementation of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) wide strategies for closing all types of commercial loans while ensuring adherence to all internal and regulatory requirements and increasing efficiency. They will partner with key stakeholders in CRE and Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) to help stand up a best in class closing platform that is operationally sound, while also meeting all expense management goals.

In this role, you will:
  • Assist the Closing Execution Leader for all related operational testing, both internal and external, and will work closely with CRE Control, Compliance and the Operational Risk Business Officer on SHRP issue identification and resolution
  • Provide input on risk assessment controls that will govern testing standards and safeguard the business and may be involved in fulfillment of Matters Requiring Attention
  • Leverage best practice workflows, increase efficiency & consistency, reduce processing time to ensure consistency across CRE
  • Assist with oversight of money movement and related processes/risk mitigation to ensure expanded wire disbursement oversight
  • Ability to create consistent & comprehensive technology enhancements for closing workflows to enhance CRE partnerships when conducting infrastructure build outs
  • Ensure consistent System of Record (SOR) inputs, reconciliation & compliance with internal/external regulations
  • Support the adoption of a single platform to create consistent/ideal process workflows with enhanced controls

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation, and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Due to a city-wide mandate in New York City, all individuals who perform in-person work or interact with the public during business must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. At this time, this position falls under the scope of this mandate.

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of real estate lending experience
  • Commercial loan closing or loan administration experience
  • Proficient in both corporate and related industry regulations, with subject matter expertise in Regulation B/Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Regulation H/Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money & Laundering (AML) regulations
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
  • Experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
  • Ability to thoroughly analyze credit policy and process on an independent basis and communicate findings in a concise manner
  • Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with business executives and senior leadership
  • Knowledge and understanding of portfolio management and international credit products
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Pay Ranges:

NY: $138,500- $287,600 USD Annual

May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards.

Pay Range

$120,400.00 - $250,000.00 Annual
