Department Overview
Enterprise Core Services (ECS) group is within the Enterprise Information Technology business and a critical component of the Enterprise CIO operating model aimed at providing common, consistent, and foundational software services and solutions to be used across technology at Wells Fargo. The group includes the strategic development and support of core information management services including data technology blue print, common data services, customer relationship management services and customer due diligence services to be leveraged across all technology teams in Wells Fargo. Additionally their Cloud enablement services is another strategic priority to re-engineer of a significant portion of Wells Fargo's large and complex application portfolio.

About the Role
The Artificial Intelligence Enterprise Solutions (AIES) group was formed in early 2017 with the mandate to enable the enterprise to leverage the full capabilities of Artificial Technology (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Leaning (ML) technology for delivering insightful and personalized experiences for customers and team members, driving innovation, greater operational efficiency, and better managing risk. The AI Technology team is creating a unified enterprise Machine Learning (ML) Platform that will enable end to end solution for other business lines to build and deploy their ML models and is responsible for supporting Data Science activities across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  1. AI platform operations management and engineering technology leadership
  2. Establishing and leading a comprehensive Model Performance Management program, which includes model performance testing, model performance operational monitoring, model performance metrics collection and creating model performance dashboards and reporting for business and technology stakeholders
  3. Installing and configuration of the machine learning tools
  4. Coordinating with Hadoop team to install necessary software for machine learning
  5. Post production support of the ML Platform
  6. Support of REST API services
  7. Proactively designing and implementing new operational and support practices, processes and procedures
  8. Researching and resolving one-off queries and issues forwarded by stakeholders
  9. Management routines and internal communications
  10. Ad hoc reporting/data analysis
Essential Qualification
Graduate/post graduate with 10 + years exp/

Market Skills and Certifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development/engineering, architecture, or technology support
• 3+ years of experience in senior developer/engineer or technical lead roles
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills DEFAULT
• 3+ years of experience with machine learning tools
• 2+ years of Hadoop experience
• 3+ years of experience in Java or Python NLP machine learning frameworks such DL4J or ND4J
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Computing, Chatbot, and Virtual Assistant
• Experience with Spark/Hive/Kafka
• Experience SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
• Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
• Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
• -Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Ability to interact with a diverse team

Desired Qualifications
• 4+ Years of experience in the financial services industry
• 2+ years of experience leading a technology development, engineering, architecture or support function for enterprise scale AI/Modeling products/services platforms and tools such as SAS, H20, DataRobot, Digital Reasoning or TensorFlow
• Hands on expertise in Linux commands and should be an expert in Linux environment
• Experience in technology roadmap, strategy, process, planning, and/or business reporting for manager and executive level audiences
• Ability to build effective partnerships with multiple stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, self-starter and highly motivated to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Ability to devise and drive effective approaches and centrally manage risks, where appropriate, in collaboration with the lines of business/groups and support functions

• Technology production operations support experience
