The Regional Construction Portfolio Manager 2 will be responsible for overseeing all activities and people associated with construction initiatives for Corporate Properties Group sponsored efforts (which are generally of higher complexity and risk) within the Retail Construction Management Office. They will manage a team to complete construction associated with specific business strategy to obtain benefits and controls. Interacts and partners with the business initiative manager, senior leadership and major stakeholders to establish plans and objectives for programs or projects. Functions include: setting high level expectations on business, product, and customer service needs; analyzing finances, policy, programs and staffing to ensure optimal results. Overseeing construction staff in their identification of requirements, development of plans and strategies, preparation of business cases program/project financials; overseeing program/project controls and related risks; managing developing and/or authorizing policies/procedures/controls within scope of construction to optimize results while ensuring compliance with regulations and enterprise policies.
The Regional Construction Portfolio Manager 2 will leverage feedback to establish a shared expectation on the experience throughout the construction planning and execution process and create an experience that supports the customer. Considers all communication that affects the experience throughout an initiative. Map the interactions including pre-engagement communications, start to finish making certain to highlight key engagements. Clearly outlines expectations of each key engagement.
Works with business initiatives leader to establish resources, influence outcomes, address conflict and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategy /policies and line of business objectives. Ensures the construction team is trained with expectations. Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations. Identifies existing templates and support mechanisms or assists in developing requirements for each key engagement to support positive customer interactions. Manages a team to accomplish the work.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of management experience
  • 15+ years of corporate properties experience
