Department Overview :
The Technology Strategy, Planning and Analysis (TSPA) department holds the Program Management Office Center of Excellence (PMO COE) and part of the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) business that is focused on their partners, team member's projects execution excellence. The team collaborates and engages from the beginning, through the execution and closure of the project lifecycle. They share the responsibility of delivery project and process change for the EIT team

About the Role :

  • A Project Manager 2 is responsible for leading and managing multiple projects through each phase of a project lifecycle across multiple departments within a Line of business. The Projects will be of medium Risk, scope and complexity. Consults with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business case, including development of a statement of work.
Responsibilities:
  • Candidate should have a total of 8 years of Experience in IT/ITES organization
  • Minimum 2+ Years of core Project Management
  • Experience in IT- Projects, predominantly in SDLC. Projects Executed in Banking domain will be a plus
  • Good Knowledge of industry standard Project Management methodologies and frameworks, viz. Agile or Waterfall or SDLC or PRINCE2®
  • Good in preparing / developing project schedules, estimation, establishing measures and milestones, definition, scoping, tracking etc.
  • Knowledge of managing projects through use of processes like risk management, quality management, Issue/problem management & Scope change management
  • Excellent communication, presentation & leadership skills
  • Good knowledge of Project management tools such as MS Project Plan & processes
  • Responsible for leading smaller scale, lower risk projects and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation planning, executing/controlling, and closing) associated with projects that are typically department-focused and/or lower in risk, scope and complexity.
  • Consults with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business case, including development of a statement of work.
  • Develops and revises project plans and budgets, tracks project/budget status, identifies and negotiates resolution of issues, escalating as necessary and ensures project tasks are completed according to established timelines.
  • Interacts with mid-management to create and deliver presentations on project goals and plans, including progress reports. Participates on project teams to complete more complex project work. May be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors. May assist with project risk analysis.
  • Shift Timings : 5.30 PM to 2.30 AM

Essential Skills:
  • Any Bachelor Degree
  • Advance knowledge of industry standard Project Management methodologies like PMP
  • Hands on experience of SDLC projects in the Banking domain.
  • Managing program/project-related risks according to the Project Management Policy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
  • Experience working with global teams.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with senior management and lead project teams.
