Our Mortgage team supports the nation’s leading originator and servicer of residential mortgages.

Responsible for planning and executing activities and projects that directly support the implementation and

optimization of efforts to grow sales/revenue/profit/market share in an assigned market or segment. Ensures

adherence to compliance regulations and policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Researching, identifying and selecting best channels, combination of channels and/or products to improve effectiveness and efficiency of coverage in marketplace and meet the unique needs of defined customer/business segments
  • Developing internal and external relationships with bankers, brokers, business and community leaders
  • Developing sales and/or marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Establishing and enhancing relationships with various WF sales and functional groups to develop and execute programs to achieve market penetration, service and profitability goals
  • Defining sales goals, metrics and tracking
  • Developing and executing appropriate communications, processes and sales training
  • Maintaining/developing knowledge of product and delivery channels

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, marketing, or financial consulting

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management and implementation
  • Experience developing operational reporting and performing complex data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members, to include senior level management
  • Conducts and completes analysis of moderately complex business problems to be solved with automated systems
  • Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes to the automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
  • Consults with management and business partners on strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for the applicable business functions
  • Coordinates and monitors implementation and maintenance of processes, procedures and policies
  • Travel required up to 25% of the time
  • The locations of Des Moines,IA, Minneapolis, MN, Charlotte, NC and Tempe, AZ are preferred but other work locations may be considered

Job Expectations

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo’s compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
