Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio. The Loan Servicing Specialist 5 provides work direction to a team of Loan Servicing Specialists in Production Services and Research Control by managing daily workflow and performing reassignments as necessary. This role ensures work is completed in an accurate and timely manner and validates data that supports key performance indicators (KPIs) and error rates.
The Loan Servicing Specialist 5 leads learning strategies, Q12 action plans, and other group activities/initiatives and performs lead tasks in absence of manager. Customer service support element extends to external dealer clients, manufacturers, auctions and internally to Commercial Sales, Service, and Risk and to WFDS Accounting.
Plans, coordinates and monitors daily activities and reassign work as necessary to ensure all responsibilities are completed following established deadlines
Gathers and reviews for work for accuracy and compliance with established processes
Documents outcomes for each individual team member on all key performance indicators (KPIs) and error rates (service excellence, client engagement calls, dealer doc review and set up accuracy, loan funding/doc review accuracy, and loan funding timeliness)
Acts as point of contact for commercial team members in Sales, Service, Risk, Finance, Accounting, and Operations
Serves as escalation point for dealer client and auction service needs
Must be available to work any shift during the hours of operation, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. Schedule could change based on business need.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment

Desired Qualifications
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial or consumer loan processing
